Collaboration with LEFKO to create custom silk sandal ties

Lefko is a Singaporean brand that creates ethically made garments together with refugee workers in Athens, Greece.

We collaborated with LEFKO to create custom sandal ties for the leather 'Poppy' sandals in their new collection!

The "Poppy Sandals" are handmade in Athens with silk ties naturally dyed and sewn by us in the studio. The sandals are made with Greek leather from Crete. 

We created two different designs for the silk ties, one is ombré dyed with acorn cupules, madder roots and chamomile, and the other is bundle dyed with logwood chips, onion skins, ivy leaves and hibiscus flowers!
